Escape the creative confines of a highly structured art class and participate in a unique course where each student is taught in the media and style of their own choosing. Jay Dampf has been utilizing the methods of individual demonstration at Sunbury Shores for over thirty years. During this course, you will be encouraged to bring ideas and any reference material so that you can create those images that mean something to you. All levels of skill from absolute beginner to advanced will learn a great deal from demonstrations given to others as well. Students will have an opportunity to contact the instructor prior to the course so that he may best help you prepare for a most enjoyable "Art Escape".

Jay Dampf

Jay Dampf's classes attract both the curious beginner and the more experienced artist because he has an ability to create an atmosphere of infectious enthusiasm and relaxed, constructive learning. He is a dynamic teacher with a special gift for enabling students to develop their own styles, while improving their technical proficiency and expanding their creative abilities. His artistic interests are as varied as his education and experience, which include the specialized art program at Toronto’s Central Technical School, and George Brown College's Fine & Commercial Arts program, followed by several years in the advertising and the design field.
