Summer 2011
CREATING AN "IMPRESSION"
July 4-8, 2011
Jay Dampf
The goal of Impressionism is to capture the feel and emotional impact of the subject portrayed rather than just creating a literal depiction of it. In this course, every level of painter will learn how to free up their hand and mind towards a more exuberant and forgiving style of painting. This is an excellent opportunity for absolute beginners as instruction is easygoing and highly individual. You may choose to work in the studio or outside with oils or acrylics as the recommended media.
