Be one of 6 to receive specific advice about your own garden from Garden Designer, Bette Hall. In this course you will visit and learn about the problems and solutions pertinent to each of six gardens. Bette will spend an hour in each local garden answering questions and providing suggestions to make your garden come together. At the end of the day, you will not only have answers to your own special situation but also have the benefit of the advice given to each of the other five participants. Bette will contact each participant in advance in order to maximize your experience. Note: Preparing your questions in advance and bringing your own lunch are recommended.
Open to St. Andrews residents only due to travel and time. Limited to 6 St. Andrews participants.
Fee: $105 plus HST

Bette Hall
Bette Hall is an accredited judge of horticulture and design with the Garden Clubs of Ontario (GCO) and rose judge for the Canadian Rose Society. In addition to being a freelance writer and garden designer, Bette has contributed a regular column, Judge and Jury, to the GCO publication Companula. She has lectured on horticulture and design at the University of Guelph and co-authored an independent study course on floral design for the university. Judging, teaching and demonstrating have taken her throughout Ontario, judging international shows in Boston and Niagara Falls, New York, and delivering the Outreach Program for the Royal Botanical Gardens. In 2002 she won Gold for Canada in the International section of Canada Blooms, Toronto.
