CHILDREN'S COURSE: NATURAL TWIG JOURNALS AND MARBLED PAPERS
Ages 9-12
July 21-24, 2008 (9:30am - 12:00pm)
Instructor: Faith Fowler
Use nature as the theme to make your own books or journals where you can record nature sketches and/or personal observations of the world around us. You will also experiment with the technique of marbling, which involves floating paint on water and transferring the patterns to paper. Through this process, you will discover that a hand-made book is a work of art in itself!
