Get ready for a fun and inventive weekend! You will begin by viewing a selection of mosaics while learning about the history of the medium, different techniques, applications and effects. Then, through a series of demonstrations, you will discover just how easy it is to create one of a kind works of art using tiny pieces of stone and glass. You will work on one main project piece, as well as smaller projects, which might include a garden stepping stone, coasters or a hot plate.

Carrie Lenentine
Carrie Lenentine received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001 from the
Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her studies included drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture. She began experimenting with mosaics in 2005 and has since kept that artistic focus. She is a member of the Emerge Artists Collective in Fredericton, NB, where she maintains her art practice, creating original pieces for exhibit and sale.
