In this course, you will learn the difference between abstract and non-objective painting. You will utilize your knowledge of depth, shape, form and contrast in the exciting technique of non-objective painting. The instruction you receive will assist you to paint in a free, expressive way and will open up new creative paths. Techniques gained from this class will translate into a freer and looser expression of your style in all of your work. This course is open to all levels of painters of all skill levels though not recommended for absolute beginners.
Fee: $375 plus HST Member / $400 plus HST Non Member

Steve Rose

Steve Rose is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) with a major in Drawing and Painting. He has exhibited his work extensively and has a diverse background as an artist and educator. Steve has taught fine arts at the Neilson Park Creative Centre, the Koffler Centre, the Haliburton School of The Arts and at OCAD. His work is in many private and corporate international collections.
