Summer 2011
POTTERY – BOWLS IN THE KITCHEN
July 18-22, 2011
Helen Stanley

Spicy Soups to Scrumptious Salads... Picture the bowls you use everyday. What do you like about them? What don’t you like? This week, Helen Stanley will lead the class in making functional items out of clay, with discussions of what’s important in pottery in everyday use. Although the emphasis will be on bowls, some time will be given to problems (and solutions) the students have experienced in their own work. We will be concentrating on wheel work and everyone from beginners, to intermediate level potters should find the course fun and helpful.
