A ST. ANDREWS BY THE SEA RUG HOOKING VACATION

July 7-11, 2008
Doris Norman
Vacationer or not, you will love this rug hooking course. Buildings, water, boats and sky will be featured. You may design your own pattern or bring your ideas to class and we will work on the pattern together. Although there will be dying demonstrations, students should bring pre-dyed fabric (or purchase from the instructor). Any cut from #3 to #10 and a variety of fabrics may be incorporated into the design. We will take a stroll through town to look at and talk about the buildings that may be included in the design. A small lighthouse pattern and wool fabric [$90 Can.] and a small whimsical pattern of St. Andrews will be available. For those traveling, equipment may be borrowed from the instructor. A few patterns, hooks, frames etc. will be available for purchase. Some rug hooking experience is necessary for this course. Early correspondence with the instructor is very important.
Limited to 12 participants.
Fee: $375 plus HST Member; $400 plus HST Non Member
