July 21-25, 2008
Will Gill
Join artist Will Gill for an exciting week of creative activity that will include a hands-on introduction to a variety of sculpting techniques and mediums including clay, plaster and wax. Participants will learn the basics of mold making using a two-part rubber and plaster mold to create wax copies of their works. The wax copies would then be finished and ready for shipment to any bronze foundry for casting if the participant so chooses. The first day of the course will include an in-depth slide lecture on the process of casting works of art in bronze. Bronze casting is optional and at the cost of the participant.
