BUILDING A STONE GARDEN BENCH
August 16, 2008 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Brian Frost
Ever thought you might like a stone bench in your garden? Then this is the course for you! Brian will explain the basic principles of stone building for durable great-looking stone projects. In learning the art and science of dry stone construction, you will be able to translate these techniques so that you can build your own garden bench or perhaps another garden ornament or fixture that you've seen in magazines. Challenge your artistic side while employing the principles of grounding, balance and form. No tools are required but some safety equipment will be necessary.
Appropriate clothing and footwear and bringing your own lunch are recommended.
Fee: $85 plus HST
